GOND KE LADOO

Makes - 32 Ladoos
INGREDIENTS
- 500 gm - Wheat flour
- 100 gm (1/2 cup ) - Semolina
- 100 gm (1/2 cup) - Gram Flour
- 100 gm - Edible gum (Gond)
- 1 tablespoon - Poppy Seeds
- 2 tablespoons - finely chopped Almonds
- 2 tablespoons - Melon Seeds
- 1/4 cup - Dry coconut (grated)
- 400 gm - Boora / finely Grained Sugar (reduce the quantity as per taste or more)
- 750 gm - Clarified butter (as per requirement)
How to make
Take a big and thick bottom pan or kadhai.
Add 4 tbsp ghee in it.
When the ghee becomes hot then fry gum in it. When the gum blossoms and looks crispy, remove from ghee with the help of a sieve. Grind gum in a mixer to powder.
Now add ghee and wheat flour in the same pan and roast on low flame.keep stirring it from time to time.
In the second pan, roast semolina and gram flour take it out when it's light brown in color.
In this same pan, roast the dry fruits and then put them in the vessel of gram flour and semolina.
Now add 2 tbsp ghee and poppy seeds in this pan and roast well.
When the aroma starts coming out of the wheat flour and color is golden brown
add Gond, grated coconut, poppy seeds, dry fruits, Boora, gram flour, and semolina and turn off the gas.
Now mix all ingredients well. Allow the mix to cool down.
Take a small portion from this and shape it into Ladoos.
