Caramel Semolina Ladoo
Caramel Semolina Ladoo is a very well known Indian dessert served in winters. Mostly made with Dry fruits, Sugar, Clarified butter and Dulce de leche.

Preparation time - 15 minutes

Makes - 32 Ladoos
INGREDIENTS
- Semolina - 1/2 kg
- Edible gum (Gond) - 1/4 cup (100 gram)
- Almonds(chopped) - 3 tablespoons
- Melon seeds - 1/4 cup
- Coconut (chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Dulce de leche- 1 Cup ( 240 ml)
- Clarified butter (Ghee) - 2 cup (480 ml)
How To Make
Take a big and thick bottom pan or kadhai.
Add 1/2 cup ghee in it.
When the ghee becomes hot, fry gum in it. When the gum blossoms and looks crispy, remove it from ghee with the help of a sieve.
In the same pan roast the Coconut pieces and grind in the mixer.
Now roast Dryfruits and roasted well.
Now add ghee and Semolina ( Suji) in the same pan and roast on low flame. keep stirring it from time to time.
While semolina is roasting, heat the Dulce de leche in another pan.
When the aroma starts coming out of Semolina (Suji) indicates that it is cooked properly.
Now mix all ingredients well. Allow the mix to cool down.
Take a small portion from this and shape it like a Ladoos.
