Soya pulao

This is a very easy and delicious Pulao. Soya chunks are full of protein, which means this is a complete food in itself and if can add raita then it's even better.
Ingredients
- Rice - 1 cup
- Soya chunks 1 cup
- Bay leaf -1
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Onion-4
- Tomatoes paste - 4
- Maggie masala-2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons
- Clarified butter - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 2 cups (for cooking rice)
How to make
Soak the rice thoroughly and keep it in clean water and keep it for 20 minutes.
Now put 3 cups of water in a vessel, boil it, put soya chunks after boiling, then turn off the gas. Now put this vessel aside.
Now put a heavy bottom vessel on the gas.
Add ghee to it, when the ghee becomes hot, add the bay leaf and Cumin seeds.
After adding cumin seeds, when it pops
( garlic paste and 2 teaspoons of water in a bowl and mix it) add garlic paste in it and cover it immediately.
The flame should be moderate, now the lid closes. Remove the lid within 45 seconds.
Add onion and mix.
Let the onion turn to pink, now take out the soya chunks from the water and squeeze them and add to the onions.
At the same time, put all the dry spices and roast them.
Now add tomato paste and fry the masala.
When the spices are fried,
remove the soaked rice from the water and put it in the spices and stir with light hands.
Fry for 1 minute now add water and let it boil.
Now reduce the flame and cover then let it cook until the rice is completely dry.
Delicious soya pulao is ready.
