Besan Churma Modak / Gram Flour Modak Recipe
Made specifically for Ganesh Pujan, it is a nourishing Modak made from gram flour.
It is beneficial for children, older and old people.

Quantity - 20 Modak
Ingredients
- Gram flour - 2 cups
- Ghee - 1/4 cup
- Bura (Powdered Sugar) - 150 grams
- Mawa - 100 grams
- (Finely chopped) Almonds - 2 tablespoon
- Rose water - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- As required by water
- Milk - 2 teaspoons
How To Make
Take a large vessel and add gram flour in it and mix some ghee.
Now keep adding warm water and convert it into a nice soft dough.
Now, divide the dough into equal parts big enough to put them in your hand and make a fist.
Besan Mawa Ladoo Recipe
Now preheat Oven for 10 minutes at 220C
After 10 minutes, keep them in the oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, turn them over and put it back in the oven for 15 minutes when the colour of the fists becomes completely light golden then take it out of the oven and keep it for cooling.
Now put it in the mixer and strain with a thick sieve.
Gond Ladoo Recipe
Keep a thick bottom pan on a gas. Put the earlier mixed gram powder into it and fry it for 7 to 8 minutes on medium flame.
then gram powder gets like a suji or Rawa. Now Turn off the gas.
Now add mawa, Sugar, milk, finely chopped almonds, rose water, cardamom powder and mix well.
You can also put dry rose petals in it.
