Vegetable Suji Cheela with Coconut Chutney
Semolina Cheela is a quick and healthy recipe in the breakfast. I have added Bottle Gourd, Onion green chilly in it.
Soaking Time 15 minutes
Preparation Time 10 minutes
Cooking Time 15 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Semolina
- 1 Cup Butter milk
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1/2 Cup Grated Bottle Gourd
- 1 Tablespoon Green Chilly Paste
- 1/2 Cup Rice Flour
- Water as needed
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
How To Make
Take Butter Milk and Semolina in a bowl and mix well.
Allow this batter to stand for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes Semolina will become fluffy by absorbing all moisture .
Now add Onion, Bottle Gourd, Rice Flour, Salt ,Chilly Paste and mix everything well by adding water to make a smooth batter.
The batter should be slightly medium thick consistency.
Keep a non-stick tawa on the flame.
Apply the bit of oil on it.When tawa becomes hot then with the help of a spoon, put the batter on the Tawa and make Cheela.
keep it on the low flame when the top of the cheela looks cooked becomes light brown then flip and cook the other side of cheela.
If required then apply 1/4 tsp oil.before flip it.
Chilla is ready, Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
