Besan Pizza / Besan Cheela
This dish is usually eaten with a combination of curd and chutney. It is nutritious, low calorie, protein rich recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 Cup - Gram flour/ Besan
- 2 - Green Chillies (Finely Chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon - Carom
- 1/4 teaspoon - Red Chili Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 Cup - water (approx.)
For Topping
- 1 Cup - Onion (chopped)
- 1 Cup -Tomatoes (chopped)
- 2- Green Chillies ( chopped)
- 1 1/2 Cup - Cottage cheese (Paneer)
For Masala (Topping)
- 1 Teaspoon - Chat Masala
- 1/2 Teaspoon - Red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
How to make gram flour pizza
Take the gram flour in a bowl.
Add salt, Red chilli powder, and carom seeds and mix it well.
now add water, the solution is to be made neither too thick nor too thin.
Keep the Tawa on the gas.
Take oil and apply on the Tawa.
Now with the help of a spoon, put the gram flour batter on the Tawa and make big size pancake.
keep it on the medium flame when it gets light brown on one side.
Meanwhile, Mix well let half the spices get incorporated with all of these vegetables. Keep it aside.
Now add some onion, tomatoes, green chillies and Cottage cheese on the top of the pizza.
and sprinkle some masala on the top.
When it's crispy from a bottom side. remove it from the Tawa.
The besan chilla/besan pizza is ready.
Eat with curd and Grapes chutney.
you can use veggies of your choice.
