Vegetable Dhansak Recipe
When the first time I made it I was afraid that my children might not like it.
But everyone liked it very much, it was very tasty and the whole bowl was finished. I have included it in my kitchen menu.

Cooking Time - 30 Minutes

For 4 person
Ingredients
- Moong split dal and Masoor split dal - 1/4 cup.
- Onion(chopped) -1
- Tomatoes (Chopped)- 4
- Chopped Pumpkin(Chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Bottle gourd (Chopped) -1/4 cup
- Homemade Dansak Masala Powder - 3 teaspoon
- Kashmiri Mirchi - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Jaggery - 2 teaspoon (optional )
- Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
- Kasoori Methi - 1 tablespoon
How To Make
Wash both the pulses(same quantity) and soak them in water for 10 minutes.
Put it in a cooker add water and wait for 2 Whistles.
Now put Ghee in a Kadhai.
Fry chopped onion for 1 minute.
Then put Tomatoes, Bottle gourd, Pumpkin, Dhansak masala, salt and Kashmiri Mirchi in it and cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 7 to 8 minutes.
When a vegetable is well cooked then mash it from the hand masher.
Now add boiled dal in the vegetables and cook for 5 to 10 minutes on low flame.
at last mix Jaggery and Kasoori Methi in it

Serve delicious Dhansak with rice or Roti.
