Kadai Paneer
Paneer is one of the best foods for vegetarians, which has the highest protein content.As we know many dishes are made from paneer like Paneer Butter Masala,
Paneer Lababdar,
Malai Kofta etc
This time in this series, we have prepared a recipe of Kadhai paneer.
Paneer is very much like to be made in Punjabi Dhaba, so the recipe is presented to you in exactly the same way.

for 4 person
Ingredients
For kadhai masala powder
- Coriander seeds - 2 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cardamom - 2
- Dry chilly - 2
For Gravy
- Cottage cheese (Paneer) - 400 grams
- Chopped Onion - 1
- Onion - 1
- Capsicum - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomatoes - 4
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- bay leaf - 1
- Oil - 2 1/2 tablespoon
- Honey - 3/4 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Kashmiri Mirchi - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 1 /2 cup
- Kasoori methi - 1 1/2 teaspoon
How to make Kadai Paneer Masala
Put Kadhai masala ingredients in a Kadai on low flame, roast them and grind them in a mixer after cooling.
How to make Kadai Paneer
Cut onion into 4 equal parts and separate its layers.
Cut Capsicum into 8 equal parts.Cut paneer into equal parts.
Put 1/2 teaspoon oil in a Kadai'
Now add onions, capsicum and paneer pieces in the Kadai. When the paneer becomes light brown, then remove it from the Kadai.
Put 2 tablespoons of oil in the same Kadai and let it warm, then add cumin and bay leaf.
When cumin seeds fry lightly, add finely chopped onion and saute until light pink.
Add ginger garlic paste in it and saute it until paste leaves the oil.
Now add Kashmiri Chillies, Turmeric, Salt and Kadhai Masala then add two spoons of water and mix well.
When the spices leave the oil,
add tomato paste and cook it.
When the gravy gets ready it will start leaving oil,
then add water in it and stir the gravy well,
then add the roasted onion capsicum and cheese to it after boiling in the gravy.
On the other gas stove, roast the Kasoori methi on the pan and crush the Kasoori methi in the palm and put it in the gravy and stirring well and turn off the gas.
Finally, add the honey and mix the curry well.
Kadhai paneer is ready.
Serve hot Kadai paneer with Roti, Paratha or Naan.
