Dry Mango Chutney Recipe \ Meethi Chutney Recipe
These days even while fasting there are so many dishes to eat from the spicy Sabutana kofta to the delicious Dahi bade...but usually, we eat them with either green chutney or curd but today I have made sweet chutney for you, which can also be eaten during fast. So now include it in the list of items you can't wait to eat during a fast.
Ingredients
- Amchoor Powder (Dry Mango Powder) -1/2 Cup
- Grated / Mashed Jaggery - 1/2 cup
- Roasted Cumin Powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Red Chili Powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Rock Salt - to taste
How to make the Dry Mango Chutney / Meethi Chutney-
In a bowl add water and Amchoor (dry mango powder)cook it on a low flame till boiled.
Now add jaggery and to cook, let the jaggery dissolve.
Add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, and rock salt.
Stir it for a 2-3 minutes boil on low flame.
You can check the consistency of the chutney as per your choice. If you want thin chutney to add more water to it.
Chutney is ready now.
