Punjabi Masala Mathari Recipe / Punjabi Methi Mathari Recipe / Diwali recipe

Kasoori methi Mathari 




 Mathari is a very popular snack.  Enjoy it with a hot cup of tea or coffee.








Preparation time -  20 Minutes

Cooking Time - 30 Minutes

Total Time - 50  Minutes

Quantity- 60


Ingredients





  • Whole Wheat Flour- 1 cup
  • All Purpose flour - 2 cup
  • Salt - 3/4 teaspoon
  • Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi - 2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder - 11/2  teaspoon
  • Oil - 1/4 cup 
  • Lukewarm water - 1 cup 


 How to Make



Mix wheat flour, All purpose flour, salt, Kastoori methi, carom seeds and black pepper in a vessel.




Now add oil to it, mix it well.




To get the correct idea of Moyon, gather the flour in the hand make a fist and if it closes properly then Moyon is enough.




Now knead the dough tight with lukewarm water.







Wrap the dough in a clean wet cloth for 10 minutes.
Dough divided into four parts and make the Mathari with the help of rolling.

 and  Make a  hole on it with the help of a fork.



Now put the oil Kadhi on medium flame.
when oil becomes medium hot then add Mathari in the oil medium hot,  When bottom surface turns light golden brown, flip it over to another side and deep-fry until another side turns golden brown.

 

it will take 10 to 12 minutes to fry a batch of Mathari.


 Crispy Kasoori Mathari is ready.
