Baked Mathari /Baked Whole Wheat Mathari /गेहूं से बनी बेक्ड मठरी

Baked Whole Wheat Mathari

 Mathari is a very popular snack.  These are baked Mathari. Enjoy it with a hot cup of tea or coffee.





 Preparation time -  15 Minutes
Cooking Time - 15 Minutes
Total Time - 30  Minutes

Ingredients



  • Whole Wheat Flour- 2 cup
  • Suji - 1/4 cup
  • Rock Salt - 3/4 teaspoon or any salt according  to your taste
  • Carom seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Clarified Butter - 1/2 cup ( approx )
  • oil - 2 tsp ( apply on  a baking tray and Mathari )


 How to make


Mix wheat flour, semolina, salt, Kastoori methi, carom seeds and black pepper in a vessel.


Now add Clarified Butter to it, mix it well.
To get the correct idea of Moyon, gather the flour in the hand make a fist and if it closes properly then Moyon is enough.


Now knead the dough tight with lukewarm water.




Wrap the dough in a clean wet cloth for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, make the Mathari with the help of rolling.



During this, preheat the oven to 200 C for 10 minutes.
apply ghee/oil on the tray and Mathari keep it on the baking tray.


Bake for 15 to 18 minutes in the oven.
Crispy baked Mathari is ready.
